This all levels class includes simple flowing asana sequences, restorative posture work, pranamayama (breath exerciese), mantra (sacred sound), mudra (intentional gesture) and seated meditation. Pacific Elements Yoga offers a variety of drop in classes to suit all levels of practitioners from absolute beginner to advance. Please read through class descriptions to determine which class is most suitable for your level of experience.

PLEASE NOTE:  As of February 1st all classes will be held at Coastal Bliss Yoga Studio located at Unit F - 1180 Pacific Rim Hwy (Above Studio One at Outside Break): Mats provided for your use at no extra cost.

Flowing with Grace

 All Levels

These classes are taught in an all levels vinyasa flow style. Focus is on breath synchronized movement to encourage greater body awareness and increased energy within fluid posture sequences. Modifications will be offerered to allow for different levels of practitioners within the class. Pacing is moderate and Intermediate level postures will be explored.

The focus is on creating balance through the five subtle bodies or Koshas- physical, energetic, mental/emotional, intellectual, and spiritual.

 

Foundation of Strength

 Level 1

This is the ideal beginner class. Focus is on learning the foundational poses to build strength, increase flexibility, and foster greater focus. Taught in a gentle Hatha Yoga style this class always includes some Restorative Yoga to encourage deep relaxation. Suitable for pre or post natal students.

 

Steady Expansion

 Level 2

This Level 2 Vinyasa flow class is suitable for strong beginners or Intermediate level students. Students should expect to work at a steady pace and be comfortable with the basic poses. Inversions and arm balances will be included in every class.

 

Full Expression

 Level 3

This fun and dynamic class is perfect for strong practitioners who are comfortable working in a Level 2 class and are ready to play their edge with Advanced posture sequences and a faster paced vinyasa style. Minimal instruction will be given for the basic poses.
