This all levels class includes simple flowing asana sequences, restorative posture work, pranamayama (breath exerciese), mantra (sacred sound), mudra (intentional gesture) and seated meditation. The focus is on creating balance through the five subtle bodies or Koshas- physical, energetic, mental/emotional, intellectual, and spiritual.   close

Benefits of Yoga and Meditation

There are many benefits to practicing yoga and meditation and the effect of most of them can be felt in the very first class. Through a commitment to regular practice the effects of your efforts will last longer and begin to change the way you feel every day.  Consistency is the key. A 20 minute home practice done daily will reap more rewards than a 2 hour practice done once every two weeks. Create a schedule you can maintain, commit to it for three months, and then check in to notice the difference in how you feel.
