How to Get the Most Out of Your Yoga Class

  • Be sure to choose a class that is appropriate to your level of experience.
  • Arrive early for class so as to gaurantee a spot and allow you sufficient time to settle yourself before class begins
  • Please alert the teacher to any health concerns that may affect your practice such as recent injuries or chronic conditions before class begins.
  • Yoga is best enjoyed in bare feet, (shoes can be left downstairs at the front entrance to the studio), and on an empty stomach (2-3 hours after a large meal).
  • If you arrive late please enter quietly so as not to disturb others during centering and beginning meditation.
  • If you must leave class early please let the teacher know ahead of time.
  • If you are unsure about anything at all please feel free to ask so that the teacher can assist you in getting the most out of your yoga experience.
